Retro style in interior design is a rich source of inspiration. This can be found in influences from the beginning of the 20th century like Art Nouveau and Art deco and in mid-century styles, mainly from the 50s and 60s. Retro accents in particular help create inspiring interiors and provide us with a chance to express our own individuality.
Whether you are a pro at finding gems in flea markets or, like myself, tend to lean towards new things, choice is plentiful and caters to different tastes and preferences. I personally like a mix of both concepts: the sleek of the new and the charm of the old. Live in the present and honor the past.
